The Annapolis Jazztet is one of the finest small professional jazz groups in the Washington, Annapolis, Maryland and Virginia area. The exciting variety of sophisticated original musical arrangements by music director, Vince Corozine, is reminiscent of the sound of the great Dave Pell Octet in the 1960s. A sensational repertoire of classic songs which appeal to persons of all ages, and all songs are introduced with a bit of information about each. The Annapolis Jazztet comprises some of the finest and diverse musicians in the Annapolis, DC area.
With a festive atmosphere featuring live music from the region's most popular and emerging bands and with special dining options from the restaurants and Market merchants of Belvedere Square, "Summer Sounds at the Square" has become the place to be on Friday nights, May 27 through September 2, in north Baltimore. American country singer Wynonna Judd is taking the Hollywood Casino Event Center stage Memorial Day Weekend, on Saturday, May 28. Wynonna first rose to fame in the 1980s with mother Naomi in the country music duo The Judds, together releasing seven albums and charting 26 singles of which 14 were No. 1 hits. After a successful solo career consisting of eight studio albums and more than 20 singles of her own, Wynonna's latest album entitled "Wynonna & the Big Noise" was released in February 2016. The Overlea Community Association (OCA) presents the 1st Annual Overlea ArtsFest! The event takes place on Saturday, June 4th, 2016 from 10 AM to 6 PM at the Natural History Society exhibition hall and grounds, located at 6908 Belair Road, Baltimore, MD 21206.
