Young Family Shabbat Experience
Celebrate Shabbat morning with your children in Federal Hill with song, music, play, stories, and crafts! Try Kesher School’s child-centered, experiential Young Family Shabbat Experience for infants through preschoolers. We meet on the 2nd and 4th Saturdays of each month from 9:30 – 11:30 am at the Downtown Baltimore JCC – 1118 Light Street.
LEGO Castle Adventure Exhibit
Builders of all ages are invited to explore, build and play in our newest traveling exhibition – LEGO® Castle Adventure! In this exhibit kids and their families are transported to a LEGO® kingdom where they too can become master castle builders, using one of the greatest building materials of all time – LEGO bricks.
Visitors will be immersed in castle-life through experiences and activities including:
Improv and Storytelling for Kids! Ages 7-10
Bring your imagination and get ready for fun! Young actors combine basic improvisation and acting skills with the art of storytelling to create spontaneous collaborative stories! The 8-week session will culminate with a performance for friends and family. Must register in advance, registration closes on January 4th.

Yoga Storytelling
Ready, Set, Let's flow into some stories! Story Warriors learn to combine yoga poses, breath, and relaxation with the art of storytelling as they recount and rework traditional fairy tales while learning to embody and release the emotions of their characters! The 8-week session will leave participants with new ways of getting into a story and working a characters as well as their own emotions. Parents and family members are welcome to stay for the class, as long as they are ready to participate with the group!

Sign up Now for “Crickets”, the music and play program for young children, ages 4 to 6. Start on Saturday morning, January 17th for a once week, 50 minute class for 12 weeks
Winter Art Classes
Towson University's Community Art Center is offering winter art classes and now is the time to register! Classes are available for students aged 5- 16 years. Registration is available for classes in drawing, painting, clay, animation, comics, digital art, sculpture, mosaics, and portfolio prep. Classes begin on January 24, 2015 and they are usually held on Saturdays.

Echoes: Bold New Paintings by Tafa
Recent paintings by distinguished artist, Tafa Fiadzigbe, will be on view at New Door Creative Gallery in Baltimore’s Station North Arts District, February 21st through March 22nd, 2015. Greatly anticipated by area enthusiasts and collectors, the exhibition entitled "Echoes" reintroduces the artist to the Baltimore region. Gadgets & Gears Day
Calling all engineers, builders, and inventors! Celebrate National Engineers Week at the Maryland Science Center with robots, drones, radio controlled cars, 3D printing, nanotechnology, and more. Gadgets & Gears Day will be full of challenges and discovery related to the design process, the role of the engineer, and the future of different technologies in the field.
Opening Reception: 'Friends With Shadows' works by Shana Palmer
“Friends With Shadows” is a meditation on the universality of experience,
drawing inspiration from the dance between the sun and moon and Jungian assimilation of the shadow self.
By contesting the divisions stemming from the nature of polarities, Palmer generates images that embrace the realms of light and dark allowing these visual projections to balance the self with the other.

Trinidad and Tobago Steel Drum Orchestra presented by Sundays at Central Concert Series
Formed in 1971, the Trinidad and Tobago Steel Drum Orchestra has entertained audiences worldwide, with their experienced pannists bringing the sounds, styles, and breezy ways of the Caribbean to listeners. Not content to simply perform for concert audiences, beginning in 1999 the orchestra took their steel drums (made from 55-gallon oil drums) to teach children in after-school programs, summer camps, and public schools. Sit back, relax, and prepare to be transported to the Caribbean for the afternoon!
Step Dance
Stepping is a rising art form and an important part of African Americans artistic and cultural heritage. Stepping is using the body to create rhythms and sounds through different combinations of footsteps, claps, and vocals. Come and learn how to step at Jubilee! For ages 12-17.
Line Dance Class
Adult Sewing
Learn the basics of machine sewing, create projects under the guidance of the instructor and have the opportunity to suggest projects/skills you want to learn as well. Ages 18 and up.
Video/Fashion Class
Learn the basics of hand and machine sewing while creating unique designs that express your own identity. Work with lead artist and fellow youth designers to develop, design and promote a fashion show featuring your own designs. Transform your fashion designs into a colorful, visual experience through video. Ages 12-17.
