Each selected playwright will be assigned a mentor—a professional dramatist living and working in the Baltimore-DC corridor. Mentors will serve as guides through the process of rehearsing with a director and actors, filtering and implementing feedback, and revising. The weeklong event will kick off on February 19 with a panel discussion about new play development. It will conclude on February 26 with staged readings of the new plays.
