The Baltimore Regional Office of Vocational Rehabilitation is now compensating disabled veterans while they train at our non-profit Therapeutic Alternatives of Maryland (TALMAR’s) Breaking New Ground program. Veterans looking for a path to employment can contact their nearest vocational rehabilitation counselor to gain full admittance into our program, using Chapter 31 benefits. Veterans can take this training at no out-of-pocket costs and receive paid compensation throughout the program’s duration.
Artist's Perspectives Series: The Art of Auditioning

Unpack the roles of professional production through dynamic six week classes. Each class highlights a different point of view through lecture, discussion, and exploration of dramatic skill.
The audition experience is a necessary part of the actor’s experience. This class explores the process from material selection through performance with a focus on the business of the actor.
Actor's Lab: Self Expression Through Story
Age Group: 18+
Tuition: $185
Find your voice! Engage in the work of the actor by connecting to a deeper sense of self. Discover the storyteller within In the safety of the Everyman classroom, experience the power and joy of bringing stories forward, sharing, and adopting new journeys as your own. Like actors, understand how the body and voice are integral to compelling storytelling and practice creative risk-taking.
This is a no-prior-experience needed class in West Coast Swing, a partner dance that is the smooth contemporary cousin of the swing dance family! (example)
While we do allow drop-ins any week of the month, this class is designed as a 4 week progressive series that starts the first week of every month. For the best educational experience (and a discount), we recommend taking the full month series.

Last Broadway Live ACT 1 of SEASON!
Act 1 of Broadway Live is a monthly Broadway meet up and open mic for Baltimore youth and families to be creative, make new friends, and learn about Broadway from Pros. Take the stage to perform songs, dance numbers, and scenes from favorite Broadway shows. Parents and youth will gain valuable feedback from industry professionals to build young performers' craft and boost their confidence.
