If Music Be the Food presents "Party of Three"

“If Music Be the Food…” is an exciting new benefit concert series featuring Peabody Conservatory faculty and students with the mission of raising food donations and increasing awareness for the hungry in the Baltimore community. This inaugural concert will celebrate the beauty and joy of trio music-making. Peabody faculty members Phillip Kolker, Yong Hi Moon, and Sandra Lisicky will be featured as well as Trio Phoenix, one of Peabody’s Honors Ensembles, and several “rising star” students. Please come enjoy Mt. Vernon’s FlowerMart taking place during the day and then join us for this high-octane program of Poulenc, De Mey, Beethoven, Dvorak, and Strauss II at night. No tickets are sold for the concerts, rather, the audience members are invited to bring non-perishable food items or donations for the Maryland Food Bank as the price of admission.
