Ten ensembles of young actors on two continents have benefitted from a unique exchange program pioneered by Director Donald Hicken in which students from The Baltimore School for the Arts and Showdown Theater Arts, UK,under the direction of Mr. Hicken and BSA's acting instructors and Carli Jones, Artistic Director of STA, collaborate on a theater production workshopped in the fall in Baltimore, developed throughout the school year and performed outside of London after a week of intense rehearsals together and a pilgrimage to the iconic Globe Theater. Tonight we toast Mr. Hicken with an evening of songs and scenes from the shows performed over the last ten years by the program's alumni.
