BALTIMORE PREMIERE!

Special Presentation for National HIV/AIDS Longterm Survivors Awareness Day

Dir: Daniel Cardone
USA, 2015, 81 mins.

This compelling and contemplative documentary follows a dozen men who have survived HIV and emerged startled from a past littered with the deaths of the many who did not. These marginalized gay men flock to Palm Springs to die surrounded by the stark beauty of this desert oasis...only to find themselves very much alive. The mundane motions of their days become triumphant as they expose the hidden battles that allow them to persist.

Since June 2015, Desert Migration has screened in 25 film festivals on 3 continents, including frameline39, Outfest Los Angeles, Tampa Bay International Gay and Lesbian Film Festival, and many others.
