As we often say at the Real News Network, the future depends on knowing. Baltimore Green Space and Master Gardeners will bring you knowledge on safe and effective gardening practices, the importance of nutrition, and the oft-overlooked possibilities for gardens in Baltimore. They'll also address the basics of organizing community gardens and the possibilities they can open for building self-reliant and engaged communities. There will be seed and soil giveaways, so that you can begin your own garden at home!
