Walk in my Shoes. Raising Mental Health Awareness Through Art

The Maryland Coalition for Mental Health Awareness proudly presents the 4th Annual Art Exhibit, "Walk in My Shoes: Raising Mental Health Awareness Through Art" This event will include an art exhibition, presentations, artist discussions, recognition awards and collaborative art. This year, we honor Peter Bruun for his work on New Day Campaign, Peter is the founder of New Day Campaign, a Baltimore-based initiative inaugurated in 2015 using art to challenge stigma and discrimination associated with mental illness and addiction, and making the world a more healing place. Please join us to celebrate the work of artists from around Maryland as we come together to raise awareness about mental illness and reduce stigma through creative expression. Visit us on May 19th at the American Visionary Art Museum on the 3rd floor of the Jim Rouse Visionary Center, 800 Key Highway, Baltimore, MD 21230. Just look for the bird nest!
