Rings have many connotations: ceremonial, decorative, social, and religious. Through lectures, discussions and slide presentations, different uses for and concepts surrounding rings will be explored. Material covered in this course includes: sizing, fabrication, stone setting, forging, casting, and other ring making techniques. Each participant will make a series of rings which incorporate a combination of several materials and skills.

Prerequisite: Intro to Metals + Jewelry or equivalent experience.
