Civility and Service: Baltimore Women and African Americans in the Civil War

Experience how African Americans and women rallied to provide aid, comfort and support for a nation torn by strife during the Civil War. The 10 am presentation by Robert Schoeberlein, Archivist for the City of Baltimore at the Maryland State Archives will be followed by tours between 11 a.m. and noon of Clifton Mansion, 2701 St. Lo Drive, once the summer home of Johns Hopkins and now serving as the headquarters of Civic Works.
