This is a no-prior-experience needed class in West Coast Swing, a partner dance that is the smooth contemporary cousin of the swing dance family! (example)

While we do allow drop-ins any week of the month, this class is designed as a 4 week progressive series that starts the first week of every month. For the best educational experience (and a discount), we recommend taking the full month series.

Most social partner dances have a "basic step" that the other patterns are based on. West Coast Swing doesn't; it has 4 basic structures. So learning those 4 structures is our goal for the beginner month series. Once you know those, you can graduate to our more advanced classes.

NOTE: you do NOT need a partner to attend! In fact, the overwhelming majority of students in our classes don't have partners. Come by yourself, we'll rotate you through the class and everyone dances with everyone else!
