Family to Family Concerts, a collective of emerging artists, examines human concepts, misconceptions, and truths in music and theater. Since 2005 they have premiered over 120 new works and donated over $40,000 to Maryland charities.Family to Family musicians are students in the studio of Robert Hitz, pianist and composer. Members of the collective study piano, composition, vocal coaching and songwriting as well as producing compelling new shows as part of their development as artists. Current members have a large portfolio of their own works as well as those created with the collective and bring those to many of the productions of Family to Family Concerts.
