Sejoon Park was born to cellist parents in Seoul, Korea, and made his orchestral debut with Korea’s Busan Philharmonic Orchestra at the age of ten. A winner of Astral’s 2014 National Auditions, Mr. Park has received top prizes from the New Orleans International Piano Competition, the PianoArts Competition, the Southeastern Piano Competition, and the King Award for Young Artists, and was a semi-finalist in the 2015 Honens International Piano Competition. He recently performed Rachmaninoff’s Concerto Nos. 2 & 3 in Korea, with both the Incheon Philharmonic Orchestra and the Seongnam Philharmonic Orchestra. He has appeared on the stages of Lincoln Center’s Alice Tully Hall, the Kennedy Center, and the Benedict Music Tent in Aspen, Colorado, and has been soloist with the Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra, the Salina Symphony, the Eurasian Philharmonic, the South Carolina Philharmonic, and the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra. A PianoArts Fellow and Volunteer Artist for Sing for Hope, Mr. Park participates in musical outreach activities across the United States.

He performs regularly for audiences ranging from school children in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, to healthcare patients and seniors in under-resourced communities in New York City. Mr. Park holds a Bachelor of Music degree from the Peabody Institute of The Johns Hopkins University and a Master’s degree from The Juilliard School. He is currently continuing studies as an Artist Diploma candidate at the Peabody Institute.
