Pianists Donald Horneff and Dr. David Kreider will perform:

  • Children’s March: “Over the hills and far away” for Two Pianos – Percy Aldridge Grainger

  • “Two Musical Relics of My Mother” set for Two Pianos by Percy Aldridge Grainger

  • “Porgy and Bess” Fantasy for Two Pianos – George & Ira Gershwin, Dubose & Dorothy Heyward - arranged for Two Pianos/Four Hands by Percy Aldridge Grainger

  • “Variations on a Theme by Paganini” for Two Pianos – Witold Lutoslawski

The Forum, on the first floor of Decker College Center, McDaniel College, Westminster is an intimate, beautiful setting with excellent acoiustics for chamber music. Meet the musicians at a FREE reception immediately following the concert.

Donald Horneff teaches piano, harpsichord, brass pedagogy, and electronic music at McDaniel College. He performs solo and in duos and trios extensively throughout the Mid-Atlantic Region. He is Director of Music and organist at Emmanuel United Church of Christ in Hanover, PA.

Dr. David Kreider, McDaniel College Music Faculty member, is the founder and Artistic Director of Chamber Music on the Hill (CMOTH). Performances include extensive appearances throughout the mid-Atlantic States as well as previous recitals at Carnegie Recital Hall (New York) and the Musikverein (Vienna, Austria).
