In this class students will learn to improve their soldering skills - solder faster, more accurately and with less clean-up! We will tackle how to approach soldering big and small, working with delicate joints, jigs and securing multiple pieces for setup, stick soldering, chip and pallion soldering, IT soldering, overlap seams, and soldering moveable parts. Tip and tricks for finishing soldering seams and reworking solder joints after the piece is complete will also be covered including soldering with enamel and set stones. No class January 26. Prerequisites: Introduction to Metals + Jewelry or equivalent experience.
