Baltimore, your help is needed for a great cause! Come out, bring a new, unwrapped toy, play games, eat, drink & be merry and you'll help bring joy to children whose parents or guardians are battling cancer. I'm a cancer survivor and I know the stress of trying to focus on getting well but you still have to take care of your family. A cancer diagnosis not only affects the patient, but loved ones, too. Many cancer patients are uninsured or underinsured and this causes undue stress affecting healing because finances are strained by hardships and additional expenses during treatment and recovery. Let's give these families one less thing to worry about. Let's give their children a reason to smile this holiday season. Toys will be given to families in the Baltmore City Cancer Program.
