Clayworks' Exhibition POTLUCK Opening Reception

Baltimore Clayworks is proud to announce Clay from the Classroom and three new exhibitions in our galleries starting October 16 at 6PM. The opening potluck reception is Friday, October 16 from 6-8PM. This event is free and open to the public. Please bring your favorite savory dish or dessert to share for the potluck reception. BYOB/wine. Free and open to the public.

Our 19th annual student exhibition Clay from the Classroom will showcase wheel-thrown functional ware, hand-built sculpture and figures created by children and adults in beginner and advanced classes. All work has been created on-site in Mt. Washington and at our Community Arts Clay for All! satellite studios.

Colorful, animal-centric porcelain pottery by Sue Tirrell will be featured in the Solo Gallery.

Clayworks' Project Space will feature artists Ben Freund and Steve Hulbert in the exhibition, Contemporary Experiments in Ancient Brewing. A documentation of their beer brewing project using handmade ceramic vessels. Curing the opening reception, guests will be able to sample Ben and Steve's homebrew.

In the Community Arts Gallery, Connections. The artwork of Community Arts program instructors who teach at the Clay for All! satellite studios and contract classes.
