Baltimore: Painter Cheryl Edwards will be exhibiting a collection of eleven works from themed series at Baltimore’s New Door Creative gallery. The exhibition opens with a reception on Sunday, September 13th, 3 - 6PM. The artist will present a Gallery Talk on Sunday, October 4th, 2 - 4PM.

Visual Chemistry, reveals narratives derived from the artist’s exploration of culture, place, and investigation of spirit. Broadly expressive, the exhibition is largely comprised of works created since 2013. The artist works predominantly on canvas and paper, in oil, ink and acrylic. Included are works inspired by a 2014 journey to Cuba (“A Tale of Two Cubas”), and alluring works from a recent printmaking residency at the Experimental Printmaking Institute in Easton, Pennsylvania.
