David and Lisa retells the strange, appealing and utterly fascinating story of two mentally disturbed adolescents: David, the only son of wealthy parents who is tortured by his mania against being touched, and Lisa with a split personality. One of her selves will speak only in childish rhymes and insists on being spoken to in the same manner. The play follows their exhilarating progress and heartrending defeats during one term at Berkeley School.

Owl Gate Theatre, community theater at The Bryn Mawr School, offers a theater experience beyond the school year, providing an opportunity for students, faculty, alumnae and guest performers to collaborate and perform together in a community-based summer theater experience held on the beautiful Bryn Mawr School campus.

The show, directed by Shannon Montague and Michael Robinson, features an ensemble cast of
