This class focuses on the most basic of the jeweler's hand tools: the saw. Students will learn tips and tricks to perfect their sawing and piercing skills. This class will also be a time to delve into sawing as a focal point for one's work, whether through exploring elaborate positive/negative space or by using sawing to create movement and dimension with metal sheet. Prerequisite: Intro to Metals + Jewelry or equivalent experience.
