Downtown Landmarks and Lions Tour

Downtown Landmarks and Lions Tour

Join Baltimore Heritage at Baltimore Farmer’s Market for a monthly Downtown Landmarks and Lions tour on the first Sunday of every month. In a little over an hour and a little less than a mile (for only a little more than a cup of coffee!), we take you on a walk through the highlights of downtown Baltimore’s history and architecture. We’ll show you a piece of the Berlin Wall embedded in the bricks of an 18th century church. We’ll take you to touch a British cannonball that came crashing down on Fort McHenry 200 years ago. And, of course, we’ll see plenty of gargoyles! We know where all the noble lions, hellish fiends, and neo-Egyptian sphinxes are hiding. You don’t want to miss your chance to look up at the grand landmarks of downtown Baltimore.

Looking Up Downtown tours are free for children under 16 and for Blue Star Families.
