Students explore a variety of metals techniques within the context of botanical forms. Surface treatments such as reticulation, chasing and repousse, and special flex shaft techniques serve to enhance the forms students explore. Direct molding, wax impressions, electroforming, and incorporating found objects will also be investigated. Students produce multiple samples as well as one finished project for the course.

Prerequisite: Intro to Metals + Jewelry or equivalent experience.
