In jewelry construction a fabulous finish is what makes a piece complete - learn to be more efficient and create fine and unique surfaces. This class focuses on tips, tricks, and various techniques for finishing jewelry and metalwork. Students will bring work to the class that needs more attention or improved finishing. Hand finishing, flex shaft finishing and proper use, tumbling methods, and production finishing will all be covered. From matte to satin, textured to reflective, students will find the surface treatments that aesthetically enhance and make their work shine. Prerequisite: Intro to Metals + Jewelry or equivalent experience.

$250 + $25 materials fee
