Ballet Demo and Talk with Keith Saunders
The Reginald F. Lewis Museum welcomes Keith Saunders, a Baltimore native and Ballet Master of the Dance Theatre of Harlem (DTH), for a demonstration and talk on the opening day of the Dance Theatre of Harlem: Forty Years of Firsts exhibition. Saunders was chosen in 1975 by DTH founders Arthur Mitchell and Karel Shook to be one of its first dancers. He rose to become a principal dancer of the company and has served as its ballet master since 1996. His demonstration and talk will draw on his more than 40 years of dance experience.
