Many children have problems with sleep. This presentation will help family members, friends and teachers develop a greater understanding of the sleep challenges children with autism often face. Come learn more about sleep disorders and how they can affect children with autism.

Presentation Objective: Participants will be introduced to common sleep problems in children with ASD and learn strategies used to help with sleep disorders.

Presenter:

Jennifer Accardo, MD, MSCE

Dr. Accardo is trained in Neurodevelopmental Disabilities at the Kennedy Krieger Institute (KKI). She completed hehr Sleep Medicine Fellowship at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and returned to KKI to establish a Sleep Disorders Clinic and Laboratory for Children with Developmental Disabilities.
