Great actors should have great audtions. In this class, SCT ensemble members, professional actors and directors will guide you in basic audition technique, but with a more focus on the full audition than on the monologue. What should you wear? What should you say to the people you are auditioning for? Are there basic dos and don'ts? We will answer all of these questions and more, clearly and concisely. A 60-second or 90-second, well-memorized, and prepared monologue is required to take the class.

Ensemble Member Britt Olsen-Ecker will also help you prepare your 16 bars if you are auditioning for a musical. 16 bars of prepared music will be required to take the musical component of this class.
