An enterprising Saudi girl signs on for her school's Koran recitation competition as a way to raise the remaining funds she needs to buy the green bicycle that has her eye on.

Film Lovers in Carroll County (FLICC) has chosen the selections for the 12thAnnual Foreign Film Festival to be held at the Carroll Arts Center on Fridays in February. There will be two screenings of each film at 1 pm and 7:30 pm. Tickets are $6 for Adults and $5 for CCAC Members, 18 & Under, Seniors 60+. Discounts are offered for purchasing tickets for the entire series.

McDaniel College is sponsoring the series once again, so McDaniel students and faculty are admitted free with ID. All films are shown with English subtitles.
