Monday Night Music: Music for Organ and Strings

The concert showcases solo and group pieces performed by McDaniel College organist Ted Dix, violinists Nicholas Currie, music lecturer at McDaniel, and James Tung, former concertmaster of the Frederick Symphony Orchestra, and cellist and composer Tim Anderson, a member of the Lancaster Symphony and the Live Wire String Quartet, in addition to cello instructor at McDaniel. Featured works include Antonin Dvorak’s Five Bagatelles, Op. 47, for two violins, cello and harmonium (organ) and five of the seventeen Epistle Sonatas of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.
