On Saturday December 6th, New Door Creative Gallery in Baltimore’s Station North Arts District celebrates the gallery’s ten year anniversary. The decade celebration begins with the exhibition opening of Twenty From Ten: 20 Artists. 10 Years., and features 20 artists who have exhibited since the venue’s inception in 2004. The opening reception will be held on Sunday, December 7, 3-7PM. The celebration continues with Open House on December 13th and 14th, 3-7 PM.

Twenty From Ten reintroduces artists from the throughout the United States, Morocco, Ghana, Egypt and the Caribbean. A partial list of the anniversary showcase includes works by painter, scholar, and National Humanities Medal recipient, David C. Driskell; painter and interdisciplinary artist, Faith Ringgold; renowned landscape painter Richard Mayhew; Native
American elder and painter Judy Tallwing; mixed media portrait painter Morgan Monceaux; award winning ‘painter of light’, Fran Forman; enamellist Helen Elliott; and acclaimed Eastern Shore realist painter, Patrick Henry.

Originated on Baltimore’s Antique Row in 2004, New Door Creative emerged from a former antique dealer’s space on The Row. In 2007, New Door moved to the current Saint Paul Street
location in the Station North Arts District. Developed as a forum ‘for the exposure and advancement of creative visual expression that reflects contemplative process, spiritual insight,
and intellectual and cultural attunement’, the gallery exhibits a range of media that includes painting, enamel, fine art prints, sculpture, and photography by both established and emerging
artists.

New Door Creative is a fine art gallery located in the Station North Arts District of Baltimore, Maryland. Originated in 2004, the gallery has exhibited the work of prominent and emerging visual artists who explore an aesthetic informed by diverse culture, perception, and tradition.
