The Collective is now accepting submissions for the 3rd annual Baltimore Dance Invitational to be held at the Gordon Center for Performing Arts on Saturday, February 21, 2015 at 8pm. The Baltimore Dance Invitational is a showcase of professional dance from Baltimore region and beyond. Work is selected through a blind adjudication process.

About the Baltimore Dance Invitational:
Get ready for an evening filled with unbelievable talent. This showcase will feature impressive performances by 10 of the Baltimore region’s best professional dance companies and artists. Hosted by Baltimore’s own, The Collective dance company, the dancers will be selected through an adjudication process that represents high-quality professional dance from the Baltimore region and beyond. Artists selected to perform will be announced in December 2014 on gordoncenter.com. Dancers and dance-lovers near and far won’t want to miss these incredible performances from professional talent based right here in our region. Take a leap with us!

About the Call for Submissions:
Work submitted must showcase professional artists or be choreographed by a professional. The work submitted should not exceed 12 minutes in length. All submissions will receive written feedback from the adjudication panel.

Submissions are accepted through Friday, December 5th at midnight. Notification to artists will go out by Friday, December 19th. Each submission must be accompanied by a $15 submission fee as well as DVD or weblink of the work submitted. Selected artists/companies will receive a $150 honorarium for the presentation of their work.
