The Autumn Leaves Project: Sycamore Group Event (Last event in the series!)

The Autumn Leaves Project: Sycamore Group Event (Last event in the series!)

Autumn Leaves, a project of Bruun Studios, is an innovative arts project bringing those younger than 50 together with those 50 or older in reflection and celebration of their paths. The project includes an art exhibition with 7 major events at Area 405, from September 19 through November 2, 2014.

Each event highlights one of 7 different "event groups" (Ash, Birch, Chestnut, Maple, Oak, Poplar and Sycamore). Each group will feature:

  • 7 "elders" (or "leaves") age 50 or above, the subjects of their event
  • 1 visual artist under age 50, exhibiting portraits of their event's "leaves"
  • 1 writer under age 50, creating 49-word pieces about their event's "leaves"
  • 2 “event advocates” under age 50, hosting and supporting their event
  • 1 or 2 youth art groups, presenting and performing at their event

Join us for the 7th and LAST Autumn Leaves event, featuring the Sycamore group! (Each event is unique, but there are 7 events for the whole project! And this is our final one...)
