Invent a spinning light machine to take home and enchant friends and family! Purposefully play with craft materials and basic electronic components. Explore circuits, structures, and a wide range of materials. Solve scaffolded design challenges - and invent an original electromechanical creation! For ages: 10 and up

Workshop instructor: Jillian Branch
Jillian Branch is a Community Artist from Baltimore Maryland. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Fine Arts with a Concentration in Painting from Towson University in 2009, and her MFA in Community Arts from the Maryland Institute College of Art in 2013. Jillian’s philosophy for the classroom encourages all students to find their own creative voice, while working collaboratively with others.
