Laura Newman is an abstract painter whose modest paintings engage in a complex visual dialogue. She’s received fellowships and awards, including from the John Simon Guggenheim Memorial Foundation, and has had exhibited at Lesley Heller Workspace in New York, among others. Newman teaches at Vassar College in Poughkeepsie, New York.
