After a standout performance with the Hot Club of Baltimore in August, jazz trumpeter and vocalist Nico Sarbanes returns to the Opera House with his own ensemble, performing a combination of classic jazz standards and his own compelling compositions.

At 24, Nico has already emerged as a rising star in jazz. He has led performances at numerous high-profile festivals and venues in Baltimore and beyond, including the Montreal International Jazz Festival, where he opened for Grammy Award-winning vocalist Dianne Reeves. As a bandleader, Nico has shared the stage with many prominent Baltimore-born and internationally recognized jazz artists, including Antonio Hart, Cyrus Chestnut, Warren Wolf, Mark Gross, Winard Harper, and Tim Green.
