Fim Showing: "October Baby"

Fim Showing: "October Baby"

Hosted by the St. Ignatius Respect Life Ministry, October Baby is inspired by the true story of Gianna Jessen, a 19-year-old beautiful girl, who learns that she is adopted and never told. She is also the survivor of an abortion.

October Baby is her journey of discovery to try and find answers to her life and try to make sense of it all. In the midst of it the film transitions into a story of how powerful forgiveness can be and how liberating the choice to forgive can be.

Brothers Jon and Andy Erwin (producers of the film) said: ”October Baby is definitely a movie where you do laugh and you do cry. We wanted you to laugh as hard as you cry. It’s such a heavy issue that it needed to be a charming coming-of-age love story.”

October Baby actress Shari Rigby talks about her own abortion and how she received God’s forgiveness and healing.

“God used the role to bring healing from my own abortion and I believe He will do the same for others who’ve been there. He gave me that complete forgiveness, love and grace, and the ability to really understand forgiveness and to say, it’s okay, it’s been done.”

There is no charge for this event.
Popcorn, snacks and beverages will be provided.
