Celebrate local brews and the brewers who make them! Taste craft beers from across the state at the 3rd Annual Baltimore Craft Beer Festival, presented by the Brewers Association of Maryland (BAM), on Saturday, October 7, 2017 from 12 noon-5 pm at Canton Waterfront Park (3001 Boston Street, Baltimore, MD 21224). The event, held rain or shine, will include beer tastings from over 30 Maryland breweries, a homebrew competition (sponsored by Nepenthe Homebrew), a live band competition, yoga, outdoor games, trivia contests, fresh local food, and more. VIP Passes (12 noon entry) are $55.00 in advance and $60.00 at the gate; General Admission Passes (1:30 pm entry) are $40.00 in advance and $45.00 at the gate; designated drivers can enter at anytime for $15.00. Attendees wanting to participate as a Crowd Judge in the Homebrew Competition can do so by adding a $5.00 charge onto their ticket. In addition to great craft beer, the festival will feature a donation based yoga class taught by HopAsana at 2pm at the Waterfront Park. New this year is the 1st Annual Battle for the Brewskies where local bands will compete for a grand prize that includes tons of Maryland beer and gift certificates to breweries. The homebrew competition (sponsored by Nepenthe Homebrew), runs from 1:30-4:30 pm and will showcase homebrewed “Harvest Ales” to be reviewed by a panel of judges from Maryland breweries, as well as by festival attendees in the Crowd Judging.
