Abell Community Street Fair

Abell Community Street Fair

An annual tradition since 1973, the Abell Community Street Fair is a celebration of what makes urban living great. With Abell Avenue's brightly painted rowhouses as a backdrop, the Street Fair features live entertainment, great food, local artists and vendors, and a silent auction loaded with great local products. Come relax and enjoy the friendly community-based atmosphere that defines Baltimore.

New this year, the fair will be joined by The Clothing Swap of Baltimore, where you can bring unwanted clothes and/or pick up some free new finds. The Book Thing will be giving away free books and beer will be provided by the local Peabody Heights Brewery. This year's fair continues the tradition of live music, a crab feast, a variety of exhibitors, children's activities, and silent auction. Dozens of vendors will be present including local artists, non-profits, museums, and businesses.

The Abell Community Street Fair is organized by the Abell Improvement Association, with sponsorships from Peabody Heights Brewery, Johns Hopkins University, and MedStar Union Memorial Hospital.
