Grab your straw basket, comfortable shoes and a sun hat and head over to the 2nd Annual DrinkMaryland: North Beach, A Maryland Makers Festival, set to take place in Calvert County on Saturday, July 22 from 12 noon- 5 pm in the Town of North Beach (Bayside & 5th Ave., North Beach, MD 20714). Sponsored by the Maryland Wineries Association, the event welcomes people of all ages to celebrate Maryland entrepreneurs and makers of fine local products. It will feature an open air Farmers Market, local handmade crafts and live music. Entrance to the event is FREE and open to the public but guests can also purchase a sampling pass to taste wines, cider, beer and spirits from over 25 Maryland craft beverage makers in addition to local county wines.
