Mark Supik & Co. Woodturning & Monument City Brewing Tours

Thurs, July 13 at 5:30pm / Free for BMI Members, $10 for non-members.

On Thursday, July 13 visit a 100-year-old industrial building at the edge of Highlandtown that once housed a veneer mill and a pajama factory, and is now home to Mark Supik & Co. Woodturning and Baltimore's newest craft brewery, Monument City Brewing Company. Tour the woodturning shop where architectural millwork for historic restorations is turned and hundreds of wooden beer tap handles for craft breweries are produced every week. See demonstrations of woodturning on lathes and woodworking equipment dating back to 1895. Then head next door to Monument City Brewing Company for a tour of the new brewing facilities.

Important to know:

Join us afterwards for a beer, snacks, and chats with the brewers and woodturners. Beer prices are $2 - $6, or enjoy a flight for $12. Parking is available around back. Tours start at 5:30pm and include 20 minutes at each site.
