The Walters’ performance series ART/SOUND/NOW brings live performance into the galleries on fourth Thursday nights in the summer. Experience the collections in new ways as musicians provide intriguing soundscapes in the galleries for one night only. Electronic duo Nudie Suits will present a modern, immersive take on the Marian madrigal, or composition for secular voice, among the museum’s Medieval relics. Contemporary horn player Sam Bessen will play original avant-garde compositions inspired by ancient sculptures in the Greek galleries.
