RICK TIGER
Rick Tiger grew up in south Louisiana calling New Iberia home. He is the second of 8 and cherishes every moment with his family back in the "Bayou State". His love for music began at an early age with a few guitar lessons from a local teacher. He began writing songs almost the moment he could play a simple chord structure. His biggest fans are his family and friends from the "Sugar Cane Capitol" of the world. His desire to move to Nashville didn't become a reality till 1991. After a few short years Rick had a single on the radio by a group called Western Flyer. The song "What Will You Do With M-E", co-written with Craig Martin, climbed all the way to 26 on the Billboard chart in the summer of 1996. Since that time Rick has had cuts by Montgomery/Gentry, Gene Watson, The Del McCoury Band, Joe Nichols, Nu-Blue featuring legendary R&B singer Sam Moore and his latest triumph, a song on Bluegrass Queen Jeanette Williams' upcoming album. His pursuit of success in the music world is an inspiration. He has been a guide for countless dreamers that make the journey to the Music City. He's considered to be a role model when it comes to his love for his faith, family, friends, life and passion for the song.
"It all begins with a songwriter." Rick Tiger
