Directors CJay Philip and Rosiland Cauthen are excited to bring A.M.P. Camp to the Motor House! This 2 week summer program teaches onstage and offstage production skills with a focus on building and strengthening community. A.M.P. Camp will introduce young people to the various ways the arts can engage and enrich community and the different artistic roles creative collaborators play in theater: Teamwork, Patience, Gratitude and Mutual Respect are core values of the Arts Mentorship Program and camp.

Rosiland Cauthen will lead campers through writing exercises to create original material and also examine written works. CJay Philip will guide campers through structured improvisational movement, spoken word and choreographed pieces from her companies Dance & Bmore repertoire. Campers will also have daily instruction from the technical staff of the newly renovated Motor House performance space. Students will learn to design and operate the lighting and sound systems in order to collaborate as each others creative team for their closing performance at the Motor House.
