The Peabody Children's Chorus will be holding auditions for children who love to sing. Auditions are open to ages 6-17 and will be held at our Towson and Howard County locations. Members of the Training Choir (ages 6-10), Choristers (10-14), and Cantate (12-18) rehearse high quality treble music of advancing challenge and sophistication, and perform in public concert at least twice a year. In recent years, the Chorus has performed local groups like the BSO, Lyric Opera, Baltimore Choral Arts society and more. We have toured in England, France, Italy, Germany, and Austria. As a part of the Peabody Preparatory of the Johns Hopkins University, scholarships are available for qualified students.
