Kingman Island Bluegrass and Folk Festival

Kingman Island Bluegrass and Folk Festival

Join us on May 13, 2017 on the Anacostia River in DC for the 8th Annual Kingman Island Bluegrass and Folk Festival with Headliners Town Mountain, Dom Flemons, and Frank Solivan & Dirty Kitchen leading an incredible cast of nearly 40 local bluegrass, folk, and Americana artists for nine hours of music spread across five stages on beautiful Kingman Island. In addition to the incredible local tunes, the Festival will feature fun for all ages, including various outdoor activities, educational tents, a kids’ corner, delicious food, beer, cocktails, and more. The Kingman Island Bluegrass & Folk Festival has become the largest all-local music festival in the District, attracting over 10,000 guests annually since 2014.

The Kingman Island Bluegrass and Folk Festival is a critical fundraising event for Living Classrooms Foundation, who provides hands-on education for disadvantaged youth across the DC region. It is an annual celebration of the fundamentally important role that community plays in lifting up those among us who are in greatest need.

Tickets are $25 until April 3, then $30 until day before festival, and $35 at the gate, VIP is $125
