MICA International Film Festival 2017 will showcase art, movies, music and short films from local and international artist on Saturday and Sunday, March 4-5, 2017. This year’s feature films include The Royal Tailor(Korea), The Grandmaster(Chinese) & Timbuktu(Mali).
Saturday’s opening(6 - 6:30 p.m.) will include guest speakers, Peabody Institute performances, and a Hanbok (Korean traditional dress) fashion show. Stay for a screenings of The Grandmaster, Timbuktu, and The Royal Tailor. Join the film director of The Royal Tailor, Won Suk Lee, in a live Q&A session with moderator Chritian Ohk (Christian Oh, Exec. Dir. Asian Pacific American Film Festival ). A panel discussion will follow moderated by Fletcher Mackey (MICA) about cultural diversity in film.
Sunday’s program will include short films by local and international filmmakers.
