On Saturday, November 19, 2016, join Port Discovery for Rocket Day! Aspiring astronauts, scientists, and rocketeers can build and launch rubber band rockets, learn about the lunar phases through hands-on crafts, participate in Circle Time and meet former astronaut Ken Reightler!

Activity Schedule
Sparkling Lunar Phases: 10am - 12pm
Explore 4 of the 8 phases of the moon with this hands-on galactic craft.

Build and Launch a Rocket!: 10am - 1pm
Build a rubber band rocket and shoot it into space!

Circle Time: 11am & 12pm Enjoy interactive story time, featuring singing, dancing, and finger plays.

Meet Former Astronaut Ken Reightler!: 12:30pm - 1pm
Get your photograph taken, get an autograph, and ask questions about traveling in space!

Rocket Day activities will take place from 10AM-1PM. Port Discovery will be open from 10AM-5PM.
