Sharonah Fredrick, Ph.D, to speak at Loyola University Maryland

Loyola University Maryland welcomes Sharonah Fredrick, Ph.D, assistant director of the Arizona Center for Medieval and Renaissance Studies (ACMRS) at Arizona State University, for the Jerome S. Cardin Memorial Lecture on Wednesday, Nov. 2, 2016, at 6 p.m. in McGuire Hall.

Fredrick’s lecture, “Christian-Jewish Dialogue in a Most Unexpected Time: Jesuits, Sephardic Jews, and the Colonial New World,” will focus on the turning points of Jewish-Christian relations in the 17th century that spanned the areas of southeastern Brazil and the Atlantic seacoast into Argentine Pampa and Peru.
