Be a Chef for a Day - National Children’s Culinary Arts Festival

National Children’s Culinary Arts Festival. Cooking with real chefs to make a fun and tasty, healthy meal.

Our chefs know better than anyone what it means to eat well, to buy quality products, and to prepare a unique dish that delights the palate. Often times, they decide to experiment with new ingredients and create something unique by reworking their favorite childhood recipe, thus going back in time instantaneously.

This is what we want to teach to our kids! We want to show them that cooking is fun and can become a way for the whole family to come together after a long day.

For Italians as well as many other people, cooking well is an art but it also represents joyfulness, familiarity, fun, and serenity. In one word, cooking is healthy! We want our kids to know that “we are what we eat” and that preparing our own meals is not only good for our health, but is also good for our soul.

These talented chefs will share with us and our children one of thier special Italian inspired recipes and they will prepare it with us during “Be a Chef for a Day” the National Culinary Arts Festival that will turn Baltimore into a big kitchen!

We are sure your participation will make this event a great success.

Matt and Sphen will welcome Erica Liverani, winner of MastefChef Italy 2016 along with her three year old daughter Emma and with Chef Lorenzo De Guio of Masterchef Italy, to Baltimore for the second edition of our children’s culinary festival!

Making pasta, turning a bunch of vegetables into a wonderful sauce, making pizza or a super cake and learning from real chefs their secrets-in-the-kitchen!

So, what are you waiting for ? With an apron and a chef’s hat, Matt and Sphen will turn you into a super-chef!
