A Thematic presentation on the celebration of Diwali or Deepavali – the festival of lights across the different states in India. Students of Thapasya School of dance will be presenting choreographies which highlight the significance of the festival across India.

Let’s go deeper and find out what it Diwali all about ; Diwali (or Deepavali- called the "festival of lights” is an ancient Hindu festival celebrated in autumn every year. It is one of the most important festival’s in Hinduism. The festival spiritually signifies the victory of light over darkness or good over evil, knowledge over ignorance, and hope over despair. Its celebration includes millions of lights shining on housetops, outside doors and windows, around temples and other buildings in the communities and countries where it is observed.
